70th Birthday

Hello Everyone,

I was asked to make a 70th Birthday card.  I chose the Pion Design New Beginnings collection of papers, they are beautiful and co-ordinate perfectly.  I added a tag to the top centre that pulls out with Birthday text and tied with a wax cord.

Taking centre stage is a Laserowe Navy  Chipboard and I cut a clock out of Where the Roses Grows paper.

Below is a Laserowe Box, which complimented the card perfectly and I left it naked.

All the flowers are handmade using Foamiran and Lady E Dies, listed below.

Hope you like it :)

Marry Me Goatbox Exploding Box and Carrier

Hello Everyone,

I have been longing to play with the Mintay Marry Me Collection of papers, wow they are so gorgeous and one of my favourite colour combinations, pink and grey.  I used a Goatbox Exploding Box, the NEW Inserts and a Carrier to complete the package.

Difficult to photograph and it didn't help that my camera ran out of batteries before I finished taking the photo's so I have had to use my phone.

I added a 3D Chipboard Cake and made Foamiran Flowers using Lady E and Rosy Owl Dies, Foamiran and 0.6 Foamiran coloured with Gallery Oil Pastels.

The Inserts come in a set of two and one of the layers creates pockets.  I used both the 12 x 12 and 6x6 Marry Me paper collection and cut out the little tags to fill in the pockets.

The Chipboard is from the Bloomar range, coated with gesso.

Below is the carrier and decorated to match the exploding box.  This project was a real joy.  I ran out of time but I will be making some more flowers for the top of the box and if you are at Alexndra Palace at the weekend, you will see it there :)

Summer Peonies

Morning Crafters,

With Mother's Day fast approaching and my Mum's Birthday on the same day I had to make some crafty time and this is the result.  My Mum love's her garden so I chose Pion Design's Four Season's of Fairies Summer Peonies Paper and made some Peony Flowers using Lady E Flower 002 and Foamiran in 0.8 and 0.6.

I have added some Lavender Mist Chipboard and Fantasy Chipboard Crazy 4.

When you spend time on making a beautiful handmade card the Goatbox's are the perfect accompaniment to display your work.  I used a square box with circle window in pearlised rose pink.  So easy to assemble and no glue required, they are just perfect.

I added a Button Marie to the centre of the wax cord bow.

Hope you like it :)

Four Seasons of Fairies Card and Matching Box

Hello Crafters,

I got some more play time at the weekend and chose to use the Pion Design Four Seasons of Fairies collection of papers and a decorated Goatbox to match.

I decided to diecut some flowers out of the papers to match the card and double sided papers are perfect for these.  I used Rosy Owl AC4 and Lady E Flower 004 (smallest one)

The image is from the sheet and accented using a BlooMar Frame.

A full list of articles used is as usual at the bottom or this post.

The Square Goatbox is so easy to put together, no glue is necessary and even holds the accetate sheet in place in the lid without glue too!

Pion Design Four Seasons of Fairies

Hello Crafters,

I have finally got a card to share with you.  I unfortunately came down with shingles around my eye which knocked me for six literally so I have been out of action for a few weeks but I am  now pleased to say I'm on the mend and my mojo returning slowly.

Today's card is quite a simple and elegant card for me.  I have used the NEW Pion Design Four Seasons of Fairies collection of papers.  I have used one of the NEW BlooMar Designs chipboard frames coupled with Fantasy Branches chipboard, all links as usual at the bottom of the page.

For the base and layering I used Pion Design Palette White II.

The flowers were made using Foamiran and Rosy Owl Apple Blossom and Lady E Tiny Flowers Dies coloured using Gallery Oil Pastels.

I added some 13arts Vintage roots to the flowers.

Hope you like it.

Pretty Patchwork of Life

Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I posted, mainly due to be being busy in the store but the last three weeks I have been poorly with Shingles on my eye, not a good place to get it, I can tell you. Anyway this card was all but glued and I just didn't have the energy or enthusasism to do just that, but today I have forced myself so you can see the result.

I have used the pretty papers from Pion Design's Patchwork of Life Collection, I hope this reminds you of just how pretty they can be.

I have also used a vintage image from Pion Design, all links at the bottom of the post.

I have combined lasercut chipboard from both Fantasy and Laserowe Love with a dashing of dutch doobadoo gesso.

The Button Marie fitted the vintage frame perfectly.  I also added Button Lauren to the centres of the white Chrysanthemum's.

I also added 25mm and 20mm open roses along with pomegranates and vintage roots in white.

Of course my Pion card would not be complete without one or two of the butterflies from the Border sheet:)

I hope you like it.

Pink Christmas

Hi Crafters,

Hope you all had a good weekend.  I have been busy tidying this weekend and I do feel better after a good clear out.  Still alot of sorting to do in my craft room and de-cluttering needed but I am certainly on the way.

Today's card was made using Pion Design's Winter Wonderland collection of papers and Monochromatic Cardstock.  I picked out the pale pink and used Palette Grey I, I just love this combination.  The image is sooooooo adorable.

I added some flowers from Prima, the Lavender Frost collection, they too are equally gorgeous.

The beautiful chipboard is a new arrival from Laserowe Love, details at the bottom.  I also used the new Sprucey Sprigs in Shabby White.

Oh, I have also used a new lace, I do love a bit of lace :)

Hugs Tracy
